Phillips Labor Solutions Group was built around a simple idea: small and mid-sized employers deserve access to experienced HR, payroll, and labor-relations support without having to build a large corporate HR department.
Our team brings together hands-on experience in human resources, payroll administration, employee relations, labor-management relations, business operations, and revenue development. We understand that the challenges employers face rarely fit neatly into one category. Payroll affects HR. HR decisions affect operations. Employee relations affect productivity. And when labor issues arise, experience matters.
PLSG brings those pieces together to provide practical guidance and support designed around each business we serve.
We don't just provide policies and paperwork. We help employers manage the real-world people issues that come with running a business.
Austin Community College
Zack brings more than 18-years of hands-on experience spanning human resources, payroll, employee relations, business operations, and labor-management relations. His experience includes managing HR and payroll functions for a growing service organization as well as serving as a founder and principal officer of a labor organization.
That combination provides a perspective that is uncommon in traditional HR consulting: an understanding of workplace issues from both the management and labor sides of the table.
The University of Texas at Austin
Ashley leads PLSG's growth, client development, and revenue strategy. A graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in Sociology, she combines an understanding of people and organizations with extensive experience in sales leadership and relationship development. Her background helps ensure that PLSG remains focused on providing technically sound solutions and understanding what clients actually need from a trusted, long-term business partner.
The University of Houston
Trinity helps lead the day-to-day operations and development of PLSG's HR systems and client-support processes. A graduate of the University of Houston with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Human Resources, she brings a strong foundation in human behavior and HR principles to the organization.
Her role includes supporting HR operations, client service, compliance processes, and the systems that allow PLSG to provide consistent support as both our clients and our company grow.
Most HR consultants approach workplace issues from one perspective. Our experience is different.
PLSG's leadership includes experience managing HR and payroll from the employer side while also representing employees and working directly within organized labor. That experience provides a practical understanding of employee relations, workplace investigations, grievance handling, collective bargaining, policy administration, and the realities of labor-management relationships.
The goal isn't to take one side or the other. It's to help employers build workplaces that are compliant, well-managed, well-documented, and prepared to address problems before they become larger ones.
Solutions designed to work in an actual business—not just look good in a policy manual.
When an employee or payroll issue happens, employers often need an answer now—not next week.
We learn your organization, your people, and your operations rather than treating every client the same.
Our support can evolve as your workforce and business become larger and more complex.
Whether you need ongoing support, help solving a specific workplace issue, or guidance building your HR infrastructure, we're ready to learn about your organization.
